New Horizons Preschool is open between the hours of 8:00am – 5:30pm.

Our core educational program operates between 9:00am – 3:00pm each day. This is the primary period of inquiry learning, project work, small group experiences, collaborative investigations, excursions, storytelling, and intentional teaching within the preschool rhythm.

To support children in settling into the day and participating fully in the morning rhythm of the program, we ask that families aim to arrive prior to 9:00am where possible.

Outside of these core learning hours, children continue to engage in relaxed play-based experiences, social connection, outdoor exploration, and slower daily rhythms as the preschool day transitions toward arrival and collection times.

Our office hours operate between 9:00am – 4:00pm.

New Horizons Preschool is closed on public holidays and for a 4-week period over Christmas. Dates for the summer closure period are advertised at the commencement of Term 4.
